Robert "Bob" Karbocus founded Karbocus Insurance Agency in 1997. He has over 25 years of experience in the industry since moving back to the Capital District from Los Angeles, California. After graduating Siena College, Bob spent the early part of his career as Finance Manager at NBC Studios in Burbank, California. He spent 10 years working on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson in legendary Studio 1A. Upon relocating to the Capital District, Bob joined Nationwide Insurance before founding Karbocus Insurance Agency.
Bob resides in Porter Corners, NY with his wife, Kim. He has two daughters, Chelsea and Kira. Chelsea lives in Sausalito, CA and works in gene therapy. Kira lives in Saratoga Springs, NY and works in the music industry. Bob enjoys live music, the outdoors and playing competitive tennis. On the weekends, you can find Bob at the Saratoga Spa State Park tennis courts. He and Kim donate their time to maintaining the courts’ gardens and landscaping.
